Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
This is my first book!
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
I am an international speaker, entrepreneur, artist, philanthropist, and mother of 2 kids and recently I have become a hobby farmer – I have a few sheep on my farm.
Writing a book didn’t come to me randomly during my ordinary life. As a co-founder of one of the world’s largest educational platforms for personal growth and transformation, I’ve been surrounded by friends who have written best-selling books in various fields. Naturally, I assumed that I would eventually write a book myself. The challenge, however, was finding my unique message. It’s easy to be drawn to ideas we resonate with and enjoy. Therefore, my book began to take shape when I sensed my message was ready to share. The genuine desire to share something meaningful was the true motivation behind writing the book.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Yes, as I was writing the book I realized that I like to come up with my own words and punctuation:)
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I am a fiction fan – I love classic novels by various authors. A few of my favorites are Lewis Carroll, J.R.R. Tolkien, and Antoine de Saint-Exupery.
What are you working on now?
I am busy with my book tour, but I plan to write another book soon.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I don’t actually know much about marketing or promoting books, so when I decided to go and publish my book with a traditional publisher ( I was initially planning to self-publish it) I trusted that aspect to my publisher – Hay House.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
As I am a new author myself, I don’t know if I have much advice to give yet. The most valuable advice I received from my initial editor was that the book belongs to me. While others can provide suggestions, ultimately, I have the authority to determine its direction. I truly wish I had come across this advice earlier during my writing journey.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
See above:)
What are you reading now?
Currently, I am reading David Copperfield by Charles Dickens.
What’s next for you as a writer?
Hopefully, by the end of the year, I will start writing my next book. I am actually very excited to start the new project.
What is your favorite book of all time?
One of my favorite books is The Master and Margarita
By Mikhail Bulgakov.
