Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
As long as I could remember, I’ve always been reading. One day, many, many years ago, I thought: that doesn’t seem hard. I could do that. HA. it is a lot of work but I found that I love it. I’ve been bring up two boys by myself, so I haven’t had time to write like I’ve wanted to. Now that they are older and more self-sufficient (again – HA), I think will have more time to devote to something I’ve become passion it about.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The Past Can’t Be Escaped. I’ve started and stopped this book for years, I can’t really remember what inspired it, to be honest. It just sort of came to me.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I have to hand write my story. Sitting at the computer and staring at a blank screen is scary. I literary freeze. Give me a pen and paper and the words flow out of me.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I grew up on Danielle Steele and Nora Roberts. Since then I’ve loved reading Emily Henry. Books take me to another place. If the book is good – I can see the scene and not see the words, if that makes sense.
What are you working on now?
Something completely different. Its about learning about your family history through an unexpected resource.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
When I find it ~ I’ll you know.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Learn to format your booked before you start typing. I learned the hard way.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
You won’t know unless you try.

What’s next for you as a writer?
Work my full time job and write at night with a glass of wine.

All the Harry Potter Books.
