Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
Since 2020, I have written nine books and this is the second to be published.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The Wish. It was inspired by the idea of being literally voiceless and reclaiming your voice.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I still like to write the first draft of each piece by hand. The creative part of my writing seems to work better when writing with a pen than when I’m typing.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I have so many favorite books and authors. Recent favorites include Emily Henry, Ali Hazelwood, Sally Thorne, Francesca Zappia, and V.E. Schwab.
For longer, Susanna Kearsley, Diana Gabaldon, and Guy Gavriel Kay.
What are you working on now?
I have just completed the draft for the third and final book in my Train Hoppers series (the first two will be available from Black Rose Writing and Amazon in 2024).
I’m about to start a second time travel novel.
What are you reading now?
I am reading Michele Amitrani’s War of Pandora as an ARC and Lucy Score’s Things We Left Behind.
What is your favorite book of all time?
Tigana by Guy Gavriel Kay
