Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I write dark fantasy, ghost, and horror stories and verses inspired by my nightmares, and by my experiences in the Gatineau Hills region of Quebec.
So far, I have one poetry collection published by Leaky Boot Press, and four ebooks from Smashwords.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest ebook is DOORWAYS UNFORESEEN, a collection of nightmare tales in prose and verse inspired by actual nightmares.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Not really. Everything I write is based on actual events or on actual dreams, and so I do my best to convey a dream-like atmosphere.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
My influences come from all over the place. Elizabethan and Jacobean dramatists, English and French Romantic poetry, short story writers like J. G. Ballard, Clark Ashton Smith, H. G. Wells, Ambrose Bierce, Edith Wharton, Sarah Orne Jewett, Isaac Babel, Michel de Ghelderode, Marcel Schwob, R. A. Lafferty, Avram Davidson, John Cheever, John Sladek, Walter de la Mare, Elizabeth Bowen, and poets like Emily Dickinson, Mervyn Peake, George Sterling, Elinor Wylie, Louise Bogan, Robert Frost, Thomas Lovell Beddoes, Leconte de Lisle, to name only a few. I’ll spare you the full count.

What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
This I yet to discover.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Stop writing. Stop writing today, right now.
If you discover that you can live happily without writing, then go ahead and thrive, but if, instead, you find yourself angry, frustrated, embittered, then you most likely need to write.
Therefore, go ahead. Write.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
“Don’t take life so serious, son. It ain’t nohow permanent.” (Walt Kelly.)
What are you reading now?
