Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I am a serial business owner, an investor, podcaster, and best-selling author. I was born and raised in California and have been studying and applying principles of entrepreneurship and investing since my early teens. I am extremely passionate about setting the human mind free and allowing people to do what they love. I believe that anything you do can produce massive wealth. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends whether we’re playing sports or watching the Great British Baking Show.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The name of my latest book is: Open-Minded Education: How to Do What You Love and Make Millions. The inspiration for this book has been developing my whole life but particularly when I began studying financial, personal development, and self-help books. My passion came to a white-hot heat when I discovered the path to financial freedom. I was and still am eager to share it with anyone and everyone I can. This truly inspired and continues to inspire me on a regular basis.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
My unusual writing habits consist of listening to movie soundtrack and baroque period music, eating while I write, and being relentless.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
The authors that have had the biggest impact on me have been: The writers of the Bible and other scriptures, Bob Proctor, Napoleon Hill, Stephen Covey, Doug Andrew, Robert Kiyosaki, Bob Burg, C.S. Lewis, Grant Cardone, and Wallace Wattles.
What are you working on now?
I am currently working with my friend and fellow author, Fiona Mckeon of Ireland, to write a pair of books to help parents and teens/adult children learn the skills necessary to unleash their creativity and live out their passions fearlessly.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
My best method for promoting my work is through social media, blog posts, podcasts, and networking with my friends.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
My advice to new authors is to always be learning. Look for ways to improve and become better. As you become better, you will be moving toward your goal. Find your passion and be relentless. Never, never, never give up.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Desire backed by faith knows no such word as impossible. This sentence is found in Napoleon Hill’s Think and Grow Rich. This changed my life as well as Dr. Joe Dispenza’s insight: The way you think and feel determine your state of being. Your state of being determines your personal reality.
What are you reading now?
I am currently reading: How to Read a Book by Mortimer J Adler & Charles Van Doren. I have a list of other non-fiction books written by my friends that I am excited to read.
What’s next for you as a writer?
My brother and I will be launching our podcast: Open-Minded Education this summer and we could not be more stoked!
What is your favorite book of all time?
Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill
