Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
Privyet! I moved from Russia to the U.S. States and love it here so much while pursuing my writing dream. I’ve written lots of books so far, though mostly erotica, and have published over 20 of them, but I have a whole lot more to come. My Stepmom Stepson Affairs series is doing great and I hope that my new Teen Detective series will also be enjoyed by lots of people.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book is book 1 in my new Teen Detectives: caught and punished, teenage detective series. I had the idea in my head many years ago ever since I first watched the Scooby Doo cartoon show and though what an interesting twist it would be to focus on a snoopy girl detective while making the stories erotica. So that’s what I decided to finally do!
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I’m a total night person, and I always drink green chai while writing at night. But I also have lots of pets to take care of during the day so I take two 3-hour naps a day instead of sleeping for 8 hours straight.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
So many to name . . . Tolstoy, and Chekov. Louisa May Alcott. I also really love anything Stephen King. My latest favorite genre is fantasy: Andre Norton. Piers Anthony. Adron Smitley. I read some erotica here and there but not much even though I mainly write it.
What are you working on now?
Right now I’m concentrating on writing my Teen Detective series because it’s brand new, while switching back and forth writing stories for my Stepmom Stepson Affairs series and another new Stepdad Stepdaughter series that is in the works. I dabble in fantasy and horror and sci fi too but am not very good at them yet.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I dislike using social media like Twitter and Facebook and stuff so other than my personal author website, I use Vinny’s fantastic Awesomegang.com promotions as well all of its affiliates like Pretty-Hot.com. They have always been wonderful to me and I highly recommend them to all of my writer friends.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Read as much as you can every single day. The more you read, the better you write.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
“Losers focus on winners, winners focus on winning.” It means don’t get jealous of other writers’ success, instead use it to inspire your own!
What are you reading now?
Right now I am reading Adron Smitley’s Soothsayer fantasy series. So good! Also, his teaching books on how to plot and write better (like Stomping Kittens) have been such a tremendous help improving my own writing.
What’s next for you as a writer?
I’m not sure, but I do know it involves erotica, haha! I love writing it so much. Right now I’m concentrating on expanding my Teen Detective series and then after that I will go back and forth adding more new stories to all of my erotica series.
What is your favorite book of all time?
I would have to say books, plural. The Little House on the Prairie books are so wonderful and will always be my favorite. They are what inspired me to eventually move to America!
