As a multi-genre novelist, I write extra feel-good, steamy romances in women’s and new adult fiction, along with completing three non-fiction memoirs about my past with five personal surrogate mother journeys creating life for five other families. What a ride it was to experience all of it, the good and the not so good!
I thrive on writing about intimate love, truth, realism, with a hint of lyricism, and sometimes painful, messy beautiful romance. It’s a lot like life. My writing depicts the lives of common, everyday people by creating vivid images that provoke thoughts, feelings and moods focusing on women who grow and learn over time to become the strong, confident females they are, and learn to create their own happily ever after’s.
Living in Southern California with my family has its perks, because most of the time I’d rather live outside than inside, just about every single day. Things that spark my life? Learning new things, and being on the cutting edge of technology, space and science. I’m also a natural non-conformist who loves a good cup of coffee with vanilla creamer.
With two grown sons off on their own, and a young daughter I gave birth to at 52, I’ve kept my own life very interesting and I’ve been a momma for a long time! My husband, Paul, and I also share a very interactive kitty, Cagney, who thinks he’s a human.
Being a writer has made me realize that everyone has a story, and by sharing our stories with each other, it makes us feel less alone.
