SHANTYBOAT: AMERICAN DYSTOPIA by Carl Parsons
Two ordinary men living in an ordinary Mid-Ohio Valley town attempt to survive in a broken American—one in which personal liberties have been extinguished by totalitarian, one-party rule. Abandoned by their spouses and children, these two men attempt to remedy their homelessness by building a shantyboat until they meet an extraordinary woman who shows them a better way to resurrect their lives alongside hers.
