The Bow of Destiny by P. H. Solomond
Loss and uncertainty taunt Athson with haunting visions and whispers. Orphaned at an early age, he grapples with hallucinations, including the presence of a faithful dog that exists solely in his mind. But these unsettling reminders of his past have returned with a dream.
Bound by a promise to his dead father, Athson desires a peaceful life rather than a legendary bow prophesied to defeat a dragon. Yet, his reluctance only deepens his peril, as the menacing dragon and a cunning wizard seek the bow – and his life.
Unwillingly thrust into a destiny he never sought, Athson embarks on a harrowing quest more like a march toward his own demise than a triumphant quest. Along the way, his haunting past confronts him until he uncovers the impossible – a secret which either empowers his destiny or leads to a vengeful fate.
With danger lurking at every turn and the boundaries between reality and madness blurring, Athson navigates a treacherous balance of truth and secrets. Who can he trust when enemies circle like vultures? Will he muster the strength to seize his destiny against all odds, or will he succumb to the darkness that threatens to engulf him?
Join Athson on this gripping adventure, where the fight for survival intertwines with the search for destiny, and every choice promises salvation or destruction.
