The Land Beyond the River

About The Land Beyond the River

The river has been crossed and life is beginning again. A new culture is taking root in The Land Beyond the River. But how to start? Many of the people are invested in this new start. They want to create an accepting, open place for all who to belong.

Luckily, they have records from “The Ancients”. The Ancients are the great philosophers from days of old who shared their wisdom with the people of the days of old. But they did not listen. The new peoples vow to abide by the wisdom they will learn.

And then, there is “Grandfather”, a sage who lived to cross the river. He brings practical knowledge and his own philosophy to the people.

It is a new beginning. The people are filled with hope, a yearning to learn the ways of old and a reverence for the voices of those who have gone before. We all stand on the shoulders of those who have come before us. We gain strength with every river we cross – as long as we heed the wisdom we take with us to the water’s edge… and beyond.

Come and join the people as they begin again in The Land Beyond the River.
