Dylan Banks’ life is going nowhere fast until an intriguing job opportunity presents itself. He’s told almost nothing about his role other than he’ll be part of a skeleton crew, based on an island and he must cut himself off from society for the six month duration. The work is unusual but simple, the money is good. But as he begins to unravel the islands purpose, he starts to question his role and discovers that maybe everything is not quite as it seems.

David Robert Retro had always wanted to write – but somehow life always got in the way. Until one fateful night in May that saw him awaken, two weeks later, in a hospital bed. Whilst the aneurysm and subsequent coma may have robbed him of his ability to walk, talk and write, it did present him with plenty of spare time. From that time “The Mainframe” was born. Now fully recovered David has since written a novella and is currently writing his second novel which is due for release in 2024.
