About The Redhead Who Loves Hemingway
◆ “Surpassing the charm of a Hallmark movie, Ivan Scott skillfully leaves a tale infused with his admiration for Hemingway and the movie Die Hard, coupled with the blossoming of a heartwarming, new romance.” Gigi Meier – Let’s Go Live with GiGi Meier Podcast
Professor George Callahan is a finalist for the Hemingway Historical Grant, which he hopes to win to further his research for the lost Hemingway manuscripts.
Darcie Davenport is also a Hemingway fan, but her track record of being asked to leave colleges, accidental fires, and general mayhem that follows her, has not translated well into her professional and love life.
When George comes to New York for the announcement, he is also responsible for delivering a rare copy of, The Sun Also Rises, which was loaned to him for an event at his university. When he arrives at the historic Scribner’s Building, where Hemingway once worked on the novel, he runs into Darcie. Literally.
Due to Darcie’s hijinks, the book is lost, and they have 48 hours to find it. If not, George will not only lose the grant, but his job and his domineering girlfriend back home.
The only question now is, will they find the book, or love at the end of the journey?

Ivan Scott’s road to being a published author is sometimes as crazy as the stories he writes.
Scott has written ever since he was in elementary school and finally was able to put together three books, all romantic fiction, that look at the romance we have for each other as well as for life.
He has Dyslexia, so that is a struggle at times with his writing, but as he tells his two children, whom both have Dyslexia too, “Never use your challenges as an excuse. Use them to achieve greatness.”
His first book was rejected 303 times, but he didn’t take no for an answer and decided to self-publish and has never looked back. Writing the story, formatting it, creating the cover, and doing all the marketing seemed like a daunting task, but as he says, “When you have passion and persistence, nothing is impossible.”
He lives with his beautifully saucy Redheaded wife, who serves as his muse for the redheaded heroines in his stories. They have two troublemaking kids, and a Rat Terrier named Beesley in the Atlanta suburb of Sandy Springs.
